No mirage, this is Maroc.

An oasis is a section in the desert where we find water and vegetation – more or less extensive portions of land fertilized by a water fountain in the middle of the sand.

In these places you will find small inhabited settlements (such as in the Sahara, the Arabian peninsula or towns such as Pica). In addition to crops for nearby residents, an oasis serves to feed the hungry travelers and caravans. Although sometimes they were misled by optical illusions called mirages.
