Last night was Halloween and the kids got all dressed for their school party. Here’s Lucca.

This is my first blog so I will try and give you a little run down on what I have been doing with myself this year (real short).

Retired at the end of 2006. Boom, I’ve been having a great time ever since, working for Quiksilver and the WPS.

For Quiksilver; I have being doing some assistant contest directing and some pro training camps for the up and coming grommets. Also did some work on the “Young Guns 3” movie which was heaps of fun.

For the WPS; I’ve been travelling to a few of the events, doing a couple of ASP meeting and working with all the surfers trying to make their lives much easier and trying to build up the sport so they all can make more money and retire and not have to work!! Hahahaha.

In August, I moved to Bali to live!! A huge move with the kids, (Max 9. and Lucca 5) but everyone is finding it pretty cool at the moment.

I have my last game of AFL this afternoon so I’m pretty excited. I play with a heap of ex-pats that live in Bali, in a team called the Geckos. I just love it.

The reason for the move is my wife Aeron makes little girls’ clothing up here under the label “Lucca P” so she figured that I have done my thing for about 15 years so a couple of years in Bali won’t kill me. She’s right because I’m pretty much loving it up here.

I’m living in Canggu, which is about 20 minutes out of Kuta, if the traffic isn’t too bad … I drive a car and haven’t hit anyone on a motor bike yet … hahaha. I surf almost every day out at Canggu. I also have an account at the local warung. A lot of my friends have started to call me Made or Wayan. Bastards, hahaha.

I also carved up a pumpkin for Halloween. It was Lucca’s, hence the lips, hahaha.

Anyway, Halloween over, it’s the first of November today, which means it’s the first day of ‘Movember’ for me. I will be growing a moustache for the month to try and raise funds for prostate cancer. I will be keeping you updated with pictures through the month and here is my first one from day one, all clean-shaved and ready to grow.

If you would like to sponsor me or any of the WPS team go www.movember.com http://www.movember.com, click on ‘Sponsor A Mo’, then lock in my number: 61994.

Day One of the gruelling moustache marathon.

… I tried to make it short and that is the best I could do. That is it for now, stay turned.
